Rachel, originally from Beijing, China, has been dancing since she was just 5 years old. Her main training includes traditional Chinese dance classes, along with exposure to various styles such as Indian and Japanese dances over the years. After relocating to Denver and participating in community events, she rediscovered her passion for dancing and her enthusiasm for teaching. In 2013, she founded StepIntoMelody Dance Studio, which is affiliated with the Denver Chinese School. This dance studio in Denver has quickly become one of the most popular places for dance classes in the Denver Metro area.

Teaching Assistant & Student Choreographer
Victoria is a high school senior, advanced dancer, student mentor, and accomplished choreographer with over four years of experience creating original work. An exceptional and high-achieving student, she seamlessly balances her rigorous academic coursework with her passion for dance leadership and artistic creation. Her choreographic repertoire spans across solos, small group routines for younger students, and for the studio’s elite team.

Victoria’s choreography has achieved outstanding competitive success, with all three of her elite group dances earning Regional 1st Place honors—and one going on to win National 1st Place. Her original solo work for younger dancers has also earned Regional 1st Place and special Best Performance Awards.

Teaching Assistant (Flexibility & Conditioning)

Hannah is a high school graduate, senior dancer, and dedicated instructor who has specialized in flexibility and conditioning training for over three years, working with both our younger students and the elite team. With a strong background in rhythmic gymnastics starting at age 9, she transitioned to pursuing dance competitively in 2023, bringing exceptional physical precision, technique, and energy to her instruction.

An academically outstanding student, Hannah seamlessly balanced her rigorous high school studies with her studio commitments and is now headed to a top-tier university. She is passionate about inspiring young dancers, helping them build core strength and flexibility, and creating an encouraging space where every student can pursue their passion and find joy in Chinese dance.

Teaching Assistant (Early Childhood & Youth Program)

Marilyn is a high school graduate and a dedicated dancer who has been studying Chinese dance for over a decade. She began competing with StepIntoMelody Dance Studio in 2020, specializing in traditional Chinese dance, Chinese folk, and contemporary styles.

Known for her extraordinary patience, warm heart, and deep love for working with young children, Marilyn excels at guiding our youngest dancers through their initial steps in dance. 

Today, she continues to inspire early learners, fostering a nurturing, joyful environment where our little kids can build confidence, discover their artistic voice, and fall in love with Chinese dance.
